Today we’re turning the tables a little bit. Cara is coming to Dot with a scripture to get her thoughts! Join us as we talk about what it looks like when we want to walk away from Jesus or we don’t feel His presence. Is that right? (4:50)The only time in Mark’s gospel where he refers to a linen cloth is in this instance and when Jesus is wrapped for burial. (8:49)The little details in scripture do connect to the bigger picture (12:51)The key in these verses is that scripture will be fulfilled (16:49)In these small details, there is meaning. When things got tough, everyone fled from Jesus (18:43)What is sad about this is that when Jesus was healing the sick, the crowds were after him. But when things got tough, they fled (23:06)It may appear that other people are in control in your circumstances, but they’re not (26:35)Many Christians think if they follow Jesus they won’t have any pain or hardship.
