The believer may be suffering now but everlasting life is coming (6:43)In verse 7, James addresses the believers about patience (8:20)James is saying, “Stop paying so much attention to what’s going on around you and keep your eyes on God” (10:34)James talks about prayer at the very end after talking about suffering (13:33)People often misunderstand the verse talking about elders praying over sick people (15:39)Your prayer is effective - just as effective as Elijah would be. But sometimes God has a different plan (20:45)We have to either go with what God’s perfect plan is or go with our plan. That is a difficult tension (23:35)Sometimes we see God when we’re looking back on things and not in the moment (26:26)Our hope is that this is not our final destination.
